The latest instalment in the series of provocative beach pictures has been revealed by a brand ambassador, who revealed she was asked to pose for a bikini photoshoot by the Brazilian beauty.
It’s the first time the iconic bikini has been seen on the fashion and advertising scene since it was unveiled in August 2010, and while it’s been widely criticised for being too provocative, the brand said it was the first to take its “sophisticated technology” to the water.
“We created the world’s first bikini for the brand to showcase,” said the brand’s founder and creative director, Stephanie Pérez.
“Bikini technology has been used to create a number of iconic bikini designs for a variety of brands, including Gap, Chanel and Burberry.”
The latest incarnation is not a bikini, it’s an ‘Ultra-High Definition’ model, and a photo shoot.
“She has her head uncovered and a body-hugging neckline and a matching bikini.”
The bikini is available from January 10th.
